Let me preface this post by saying, I have NEVER laughed so hard at an engagement session before in my life!!!!!!

My wife went to high school with Nicole (Nic) and they are friends on Facebook. So when my wife saw that Nic was engaged she got in touch with her and got the ball rolling for the engagement session. Nic and Winston thought San Francisco would be a great place to do the session since they are BIG Giants fans!! Sounded good to me! We started at AT&T park, then wandered through the neighborhood around the park, (mostly waiting for the rain to stop) then ended back at the park. The WHOLE time we were shooting we were ALL laughing (even Jeff, our “private security” for the day). It was so much fun being around Nic and Winston! Nothing was taboo or to off the wall for them. Some of the facial expressions Winston makes are HILARIOUS!! I can’t wait for the wedding, supposedly the hilarity will be even more!!!

Cristie & Jeff :: Engaged :: 07.25.10

I met Cristie and Jeff though a couple of friends and they are an amazing couple! After our first meeting I was so excited to be their photographer even though they hadn’t even booked me yet. Well needless to say they did book me and I got to spend the day with them at Cavallo Point outside of Sausalito for a great engagement session. What used to be Ft. Baker, this area has lots of cool architecture and history. From the old military housing that is now a hotel, to the abandoned bunkers used to protect the area during WWII this place is so much fun to shoot at. We spent a lot of time talking and fooling around to get some great pics! I am now even more excited to shoot this wedding, but for now you can enjoy the engagement photos.

Minh & Robby :: Engaged :: 06.26.10

This was a super fun session! Minh and Robby’s wedding is going to be in a very outdoorsy, wooded area up at Tilden Park so we decided that a fun urban/city scape location for engagement pictures would be a great contrast. The couple lives out in North Beach so we decided to use the very unique area as our backdrop.

Lots of laughs were had, especially once we got Robby to loosen up! LOL. It was great to watch the interaction between these two. It was so genuine, and fun, showing how much they enjoy their lives together. Most of the time I just let them be and I took the picture. There was pretty much nothing these two wouldn’t do for a great photo, including standing in the middle of busy San Francisco streets! We got to walk around a lot of the city and found some great hidden gems and I got to find a good dim sum restaurant! I am really excited for their wedding coming up this fall. If the engagement session was a preview I know that we are going to have a LOT of fun on the big day.
