As many of you know I entered one of my images in a contest put on by Sandisk Memory Cards. Last month I found out I won the wedding category and was in contention for the Grand Prize that was to be announced this past weekend at the Photoplus Expo in New York City. Unfortunately, I did not win the Grand Prize but I did have my image displayed in the SanDisk booth along side the Grand Prize winner, Ellen Anon. I really do wish I could have traveled to the expo and seen my picture there in the bright lights of the expo but Ellen was kind enough to take a photo for me.
Thank you Everyone who voted for me and supported me during this contest! I will be riding this wave of excitement for a long time! Also a special thank you goes out to Erica & Dave Moyer. They are the couple in the winning image and it was their commitment to the shoot and getting the perfect shot that gave me the opportunity to get the winning image! Thank you guys!!
