Let me preface this post by saying, I have NEVER laughed so hard at an engagement session before in my life!!!!!!

My wife went to high school with Nicole (Nic) and they are friends on Facebook. So when my wife saw that Nic was engaged she got in touch with her and got the ball rolling for the engagement session. Nic and Winston thought San Francisco would be a great place to do the session since they are BIG Giants fans!! Sounded good to me! We started at AT&T park, then wandered through the neighborhood around the park, (mostly waiting for the rain to stop) then ended back at the park. The WHOLE time we were shooting we were ALL laughing (even Jeff, our “private security” for the day). It was so much fun being around Nic and Winston! Nothing was taboo or to off the wall for them. Some of the facial expressions Winston makes are HILARIOUS!! I can’t wait for the wedding, supposedly the hilarity will be even more!!!

Mira & Mark :: Engaged :: Huntington Beach Engagement Photography

I met Mira though the wonderful world of Facebook. She added me after seeing one of her friends tagged in some wedding photos I did. After some chatting and emailing we got to meet up while I was in Orange County with my family during one of our many Disneyland trips!

Mira and Mark are having a Coptic wedding. Now I didnt know what that was either but I am super excited to experience it next month! Since they are both Egyptian there will be LOTS of cultural and religious traditions and elements to the wedding! I can’t wait! But for now, you can look over their engagement photos that we did at UC Irvine (where Mark did his undergrad studies) and then out at Huntington Beach!

I had an absolute BLAST with Suzie and Danny!! They are a great couple and it was one of those sessions I didnt want to end. Luckily their wedding is in a month so it wont be long before I get to work with them again. I decided to shoot in Downtown Martinez, mostly out of convenience for the couple but also because I have never shot a session there and I wanted to see what kind of stuff I could get! I love new places and new challenges.
