My parents have quite an interesting assortment of “themes” in their yard which makes for some interesting patterns, textures, and colors. I had never really looked at the yard “photographically” until I did this set and actually it is very fun to shoot.

I met these two at a wedding last year in Vacaville for some of their dancing buddies. At that wedding I started hearing rumblings that I was their choice for photographer when they got married. Then back in May, Ashlee was a bridesmaid for another wedding I shot up in Auburn. I think this wedding pretty much solidified my involvement in what was supposed to be a courthouse wedding. Well the wedding grew into a nice intimate wedding with close family and friends out at Paradise Valley Golf Course in Fairfield. This change of events was totally fine by me! It’s 5 minutes from home and I know lots of good places at the course for pictures!

Everything was wonderful about this day! Jeremiah, his brother Ryan, and another groomsman wore dress uniforms ( there were a lot of active duty and retired military in attendance, including my assistant for the day!). Ashlee wore an amazingly simple, yet elegant while dress, and everyone was so much fun to be around! Also in attendance were the 2 other couples that were past clients! I had a BLAST at this wedding!

I was honored to be a part of this special day and I am so excited to share these images with everyone! I always love military weddings and getting use my talents as a thank you for their service to this great country!

Showing up the wedding day events was just pure fun. The first stop was Carlos’ parents house where he was getting ready, and the home was full of family, most from Peru. We got some really great shots there and got to hang out with a very cool, collected and EXCITED groom. Next we headed to the GORGEOUS Claremont resort to meet up with Erika and her girls. Being with them was so much fun and everyone was just so nice and a joy to be around. Erika was so excited and just so happy, it was a great time being with her while she was getting ready.

The ceremony and reception was at The Brazilian Room in Tilden park which is an amazing location that not many people know about. It was the perfect venue for this very cultural wedding. All the guests were friendly and always willing to be in a photograph. The ceremony was full of emotion and some laughs. After Carlos and Erika were pronounced Husband and Wife they were scheduled to release butterflies. Well it was a little to cold for the butterflies to fly so they were just posed for pictures.

The reception was again full with great people, great food, and great times! We had such a great time with everyone there and we got a TON of great images to help the family remember this amazing day!

I had not met Jason before our photography consultation but after that, and even more so after the engagement session I knew he was a good man and a great fit for Stacy. He is so genuine and caring towards her and that just made me so much more excited to be a part of their wedding.

Everything about this wedding was awesome! I mean you cant ask for much more than being in Sacramento, for an outdoor wedding, in August and it only being about 80 degrees all day! A great group of friends and family did a lot of work to put this perfect backyard wedding together. Molly, one of Stacy’s long time friends did an amazing job with the day of coordination. Jason’s Mother provided her gorgeous home for all the festivities, Jason’s father was the officiant, another one of Stacys long time friends Moriah made 2 GORGEOUS cakes, and the list goes on. All the people involved in this wedding goes to show how much people care for Stacy and Jason, and I am one of those people!

Kim and Fred are so much fun to be around, and are super photogenic! I absolutely love being around these two. Even from our first consultation I knew this wedding was going to be a great time. It was held at a private home in Healdsburg and was nice and intimate. Everyone seemed to know each other and even if they didnt you couldnt tell. The ceremony was filled with great happy moments and some laughs. Everyone in the wedding party and the families were such a joy to work with and let me go out on some limbs to get great shots!

I was so happy to be a part of this wedding! I wish Kim and Fred the best, and many years of happiness!!
